Projects

A project it is currently involved in is the mural of dog art called Dogs of 6th and Devoy, in New Westminster BC. This project is now complete.

$1500 in net proceeds from this fence was donated to BC and Alberta Guide Dogs, and 400 to other local dog related societies and charities.

(For a $50 dollar (or as much as you want to) donation, your dog can be painted on the fence, if you live in the New Westminster area surrounding the fence.

To read more about it - check on the announcement on this site under www.Bowwowwowmeow.com

and also check under information.

Having your dogs face on the fence will bring a smile to those that pass by, and will help promote the importance dogs play in society.

Many people may not be aware of the huge benefit dogs add to our lives. Many live alone and their dogs are their constant and only companion.

CCC focus is to increase the acceptance of dogs in society

there is another fence in progress and it is called Cherry Lane Canines and Cats.

and now, a book.

The book is a memory book, for the fence Dogs of 6th and Devoy, and Friends, and a book for the love of a dog, and cat.

Every story about each dog and cat shares something special about them, and how they are such an important part of our lives. Most of the stories have been written by the dog or cat’s person.

"When I started painting the fence, I was doing it for the love of the dog, a tribute to our wonderful friends.  I did not realize it would become so popular.

I appreciate the positive results, and this book will allow more people to see the Dogs of 6th and Devoy, and Friends, and will bring more awareness to those who are not familiar with the BC and Alberta Guide Dogs, and the puppy raisers, as well as to the importance of dogs and cats in our lives." Margaret Halsey

50% of the net proceeds from the book will be donated to BC and Alberta Guide Dogs (Guide Dogs and Dogs for Autism).

In the book you can also read about Citizen Canine Companion, for the love of the dog.

I have also provided a sneak preview of the next fence, and a few pages on my art off the fence
